NBCA Strategic Plan

The strategic planning process was designed to include the wisdom and imagination of denominational officers, pastors, congregational leaders, and the general membership of NBCA. This inclusive approach to discerning God’s will for the denomination and cultivating a collective vision for the future included conversations in September 2014, during a Special Session convened in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to launch a multi-year focus on Prayer, Planning, Unity, Renewal, and Worship. We started a journey to imagine a new and exciting future together. We gathered data from NBCA Pastors and constituents to ensure that we benefit from the deep and broad experience and insight of many who are serving faithfully across the country. The initial process has been accomplished. We organized the input around “the convention serving congregations.” You have spoken, and we are responding with this Strategic Plan that outlines the way forward for the next few years.
