Overview: The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ) was founded in 1983 by Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein to promote understanding between Jews and Christians and build broad support for Israel and other shared concerns. The ministry’s vision is that Jews and Christians will reverse their 2,000-year history of discord and replace it with a relationship marked by dialogue, respect, and cooperation.
Benefits to NBCA Members: This partnership links NBCA with numerous (400) mission opportunities in the nation of Israel. Member churches can determine their own level of support to the IFCJ. Pilgrimages to the Holy Land may be organized through the IFCJ. This is an ever-emerging partnership that is proving to be a blessing to NBCA and her member churches. Over 25 NBCA leaders were sent in 2016, to Israel at the expense of the IFCJ to kick off officially this partnership. We are developing a program for IFCJ to organize trips for local churches to take pilgrimages to Israel that will be financed by individual NBCA members or churches but coordinated by IFCJ. The IFCJ has offices in the USA as well as Israel and around the world.
