What is EMERGE?
Emerge is The National Baptist Convention of America’s space for Millennials, Gen Z, Gen Alpha and Future Generations. The word“emerge” comes from 2 Latin phrasesmeaning to become known or come tolight. It is defined as a verb meaning tobecome apparent, important, orprominent. This is a space for generations often overlooked to have their own spaces to be seen and heard, developed, discipled, and ultimately, deployed into the service of the local church and the NBCA.
